Emma seat and side table

The furniture modular and those able to meet more than one function are my favorites, for challenging the traditional concept of what an object should be by definition. And when its design is simple, with simple lines without many frills, it seems much more ideal because it is thus easier infuse your personality. Within this category is Emma, a table that includes a bedside assistant.

If you have a side table that has outlived its usefulness or that is dingy and scratched, consider transforming it into a comfortable cushioned seat instead. Adding attractively covered fabric to the top creates a convenient bench-style seat that can also be used as an ottoman. In addition, due to the smaller size, you can push the side table under larger tables for storage. The process requires no complicated sewing and can be performed in a single afternoon.

The chair Emma has been created by the study design industry Kieser Spath which was founded in 2008 in Germany by Marcel Kieser and Christof Spath. His designs seek to develop innovative products in areas such as office, fashion and home. Their products are known for their detail and freshness. Describe the chair Emma ideal for peaceful moments of life.

This is one of those designs that are so simple that it seems impossible that anyone has done spontaneously. Made of durable wood with a fabric backing to make this chair more comfortable. Emma’s design used to be traditional in the past, when landlines were the norm. While it is true that there is a need today, at least not with that goal, this chair with side table becomes a comfortable reading area. The table can be used to place a drink, papers, or whatever we need to have on hand.

Move the side table to an outdoor location or to a garage. Put on safety glasses and a dust mask. Sand the entire surface of the table with a medium-grit sandpaper to roughen it and to remove loose paint chips. Wipe the table down with a tack cloth after sanding to remove all dust from the surface.
