The Tulip as current chair design with a pop

This chair its name from its original form tulip is a classic organic design . It was designed by Finnish architect Eero Saarinen in 1956. It belongs to the collection of furniture Pedestal , its creator wanted stays clean legs , but the idea came from a project in common with Charles Eames, wherein the plastic would be used, but then this material could not stand the weight.

The material used for the central stem is of aluminum painted, it holds the glass fiber structure . The chair may have arms, be fixed or swivel, be upholstered in leather or fabric, or just have a cushion.
