We in the U.S. city of Houston, in the state of Texas, neither more nor less, and there, through Analog Dialog, we found this room, a modern, cozy, with a speck of sophistication, which belongs to an apartment projected by designer Chris Nguyen. There is no doubt that the anthracite gray, almost black, present in walls and woodwork, is responsible for the tremendous personality that boasts this room, elegant and sober.
If you’re thinking of black to decorate your living room, keep in mind that this color should be reserved for very bright rooms. This room has large windows, floor to ceiling, and a magnificent terrace, which flood the interior with natural light.
However, to qualify the rotundity of black and lighten the mood, this color was combined with natural tones, very soft: a pair of fiber armchairs, beige carpet and a coffee table transparent methacrylate. The brown leather bench and floor wooden flooring add a note of warmth.

As you can see, the color black on the walls helps to highlight paintings and photographs.
And what about the dining room? I love it! Of course with Knoll Tulip table, these bentwood chairs, beautiful, and the lamp, with the arm and the display on the table, it was easy to get an elegant, modern, sober and, simultaneously, warm and welcoming. A perfect combination: black, white and wood.
